Earlier this month, Samsung started rolling out the Android 5.0 update for the Galaxy S5 Lollipop with Vodafone branding and now appears the T-Mobile variant Update to receive. The big question is why the carrier branded versions first received the update, while the regular model in the Netherlands still has not been updated to Android 5.0 and other countries have already received the update.

Samsung Galaxy S5 with T-Mobile branding have in many cases only when the unit is in a T-Mobile shop or purchased via the T-Mobile website. However, in the possession of a T-Mobile branded version of the Galaxy S5, but you still see no notification appear before the update? Quickly open the settings menu, then the submenu on the phone and the system update option where you can check if an update is available. If this method does not work, then install Samsung Kies on your PC or Mac.

And if you have a Samsung Galaxy S5 without bloatware Vodafone or T-Mobile, then there is nothing else to do but at the moment waiting for the moment when Samsung releases the update for Dutch users. T-Mobile Galaxy S III’s Download New OTA Update T999UVLJ4, Since yesterday, T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S III users are seeing a new firmware update being hitting their handsets. This is a small OTA update, bringing the new build number T999UVLJ4 and a couple of improvements to the build of the handset. Android version still remains at v4.0.4. No luck of Jelly Bean update yet for the U.S. based Galaxy S III handsets, although the manufacturer has confirmed it will be available in the coming months.

You will observe the following changes:

# Pinch & Zoom backend changes – No visible user  changes

If you are yet to receive the new OTA update, you can try to manually download it by hitting the Settings app section and proceed for further options to find it. Or else, you can also try to upgrade your device through Samsung’s own Kies program by connecting your handset to PC.

The update is weighing just 12MB of size.
