Huawei Honor 6 Plus Beijing Review
Huawei Honor 6 Plus Review: Honor 6 Plus comes after the iPhone 6 Plus with dual camera (hands-on)
Huawei Honor 6 Plus Beijing Review-In Beijing, not more than one month since the launch of the Huawei Honor 6 Tmobile, but the smartphone maker from China recently has launched its latest smartphone models, namely Honor 6 Plus.
Huawei Honor 6 Extrem Edition Review |
Has been available here, at 798 Arts District capital of China, the smartphone has a 5.5 inch clear similarities with the Apple iPhone 6 Plus in terms of scenery, but the difference Honor 6 Plus offers features that Apple does not have a smartphone, such as dual 8-megapixel rear camera and battery 3,600mAh with great power.
If this sounds good innovation, take your time to think back to other smartphones in the beginning of this year, HTC One M8. As M8, dual-camera system Honor 6 Plus lets you take pictures anywhere, you can control the focus after being shot and was taken, but its not all phones offer this.
Design
Huawei did not just throw in a few cameras. Honor 6 Plus with 7.5 mm thick black glass design share of Honor 6 and has a metal strip that seems to flow on the side. There should be a pattern on the back, but we really only get out when the light hits the upper right corner of the phone in black and white models. This is more easily seen in the gold models. As part of the Huawei brand reboot, the only brand that you will see in the phone is Honor.
If you give it some thought, you will see that the Honor 6 Plus basically have the same design with 6 Honor, just a little bigger and with two cameras on the back. Its not a bad thing, especially if youre a fan of the older design, the iPhone 5S.
Features
Honor 6 Plus is loaded with all things good. Kirin has a 925 processor octa-core, in "big.LITTLE" configuration. It means having four ARM Cortex-A7 and Cortex-A15 four processors. 5.5-inch screen, full-HD resolution - 1,920x1,080 pixels. Thats about 401 pixels per inch, similar to the iPhone 6 Plus, which also has a 5.5 inch screen.
The display has a contrast ratio of 1,500: 1 and a color gamut of 85 percent. Huawei showcased comparison of simulated images of the iPhone 6 Plus with Honor 6 Plus appear more saturated. Until we put the two phones side by side for comparison.
In addition to the screen, other specifications of the phone include having 3GB of RAM, 3,600mAh battery and 32GB of onboard storage, microSD supported up to 128GB of storage.
For those who travel regularly between countries and seek support for dual-SIM useful, the good news is that Huawei has managed to squeeze in active support dual-SIM and 4G. That means there is a 4G connection and a 3G connection on the phone. This phone has a SIM card built-in software, with support for global roaming data is low, the cost of the buyer China RM28 a day (about $ 5 or £ 3) for unlimited data. Huawei has not been confirmed whether this feature will create a model that went on sale in the USA, England or Australia.
Dual Camera
The dual-camera setup is somewhat similar to the One M8. It reminded us of the system Corephotonics, but the setup Huawei seems to lack some key features (such as optical zoom). You can re-focus on the image after the shot is taken, and instead of background blur simulation, it seems very natural bokeh effects.
In addition to these features, Huawei has also been packaged in a sensor with a larger size, namely 1.98 micrometer-pixel. It was almost as big as the HTC "Ultrapixel", but you take pictures at 8 megapixels, give you more detail. This camera also has a focus 0.1 seconds, fast enough for photographing fast-moving subjects, and there is an 8-megapixel shooter facing forward as well.
Android 4.4
The phone is powered by Android 4.4 KitKat, not the newest Lollipop 5.0 but with Huawei Emotion UI 3.0 overlayed. This skin does away with the app drawer, which means that the application is always on your home screen, like iOS. Lock screen has also been tweaked, allowing you quick access to media controls, calculators and flashlights.
The phone also takes a page from the book Apples Pay, and next year, those in China will use this phone to make payments in many retail outlets.
View
Huawei Honor 6 Plus will be launched in China for the first time in three colors (black, white and gold) to RMB2,499 for 4G version, which converts to about $ 400, £ 260 and AU $ 500 3G version will only be charged RMB1,999, which is about $ 325, £ 200 or AU $ 400. there is no release date for the US, UK and Australia, although we understand that the company is planning to hold the phone to the whole world.
