However, the Galaxy Tab Active is a very striking variant of the Tab 4 to 8 inches. It has the exact same specifications, but is inserted in a waterproof and shock-resistant housing.

This is the Active Tab is one of the strangest-looking tablets we’ve ever seen. For an 8-inch tablet, he is huge, and stunning you can not call him.

The back is made of ribbed material with four excellent bumpers, near the corners. The corners themselves have excellent lumps under Samsung could cause a fall of 1.2 meters guaranteed yields no damage. The back can be removed so that the battery can be replaced.

On the front there are three physical buttons, just like on the waterproof Galaxy S5 Active. Again, this is not really beautiful, but functional. Touch control does not work on wet appliances.

Like the Tab 4, the Active Tab screen of 1280 by 800 pixels, quad-core processor at 1.2 GHz and 1.5 GB RAM. The price of the Active Tab is not known, so it is not yet possible to say whether you get value for money.

Unfortunately it was not possible to drop or Tab Active immersing in water. I am very curious whether the device is indeed as rough as Samsung claims.

The company is the Galaxy Tab Active on business, and the tablet does not seem too interesting. For the average consumer

Where Sony makes its tablets and smartphones waterproof so you can lie by the pool, on vacation with the Samsung Tab Active clearly not interested in the average holidaymaker. It is still unclear whether the device at all comes to lie in the shops or that he will be sold only. Directly to companies

Asus Memo Pad 7

Asus announced the IFA a new tablet of 7 inches. The Memo Pad 7 (not to be confused with the earlier Memo Pad HD 7) is described by the company spokesman as “the spiritual successor to the Nexus 7″ which was made also by Asus, but this time it seems the company’s designer having left it. device at home

Memo Pad 7 is enveloped in a huge cheap-feeling plastic casing, which apparently must look like a handbag. I do not wish it to be. Many women view it

The back of the tablet is two-tone and is separated by a ridge, causing part of the tablet is a lot thicker than the other part.

As a whole the tablet be light (269 grams) and fairly thin (8.3 millimeters). To take it so it has a good size.

In terms of specifications, indeed does not the Memo Pad 7 under for the Nexus 7, with a full HD resolution and a 64-bit Intel Moorefield chip 1 8 GHz. The screen is beautiful and at first glance seemed to be the performance of the Intel chip quickly.

The price of 199 euros is also reasonable for a tablet with these specs, but for me, Asus had also the design closer to the Nexus 7 may continue
